NEW DELHI: Punjab chief minister Amarinder Singh on Monday appealed to farmers to shift their protests out of the state in the event that they wished to place stress on the Centre.
Asserting that the Congress stood by farmers’ agitation in opposition to the farm legal guidelines at each stage, Amarinder stated the event of the state is being hampered due to the protests.

In a letter to the CM, Sidhu wrote, “That is to carry to your consideration and request for vital motion, upon the calls for raised by 32 farmer unions on the assembly referred to as by them.”
Sidhu stated farmer leaders demanded “the cancellation of unjust and unfair” FIRs registered in opposition to the farmer unions as a consequence of circumstances of violence throughout the agitation within the state.”
