Lieutenant Basic Gajendra Joshi has taken over the cost of recent Basic Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Strike 1 or 1 Corps, Officers stated on Tuesday.
“Lt. Basic Gajendra Joshi took the cost of Basic Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Strike 1 on Monday from Lt. Basic M Ok Katiyar,” Shantanu Pratap Singh, PRO, Ministry of Defence in Lucknow stated.

In counter-terrorism operations, the GOC actively served as a battalion commander in south Kashmir in addition to a sector commander in Manipur, the PRO defence stated, including he additionally commanded a division in J&Ok.
