The Ministry of Training on Tuesday has sought a report from JNU on college students’ conflict on Ram Navami, officers stated. Two teams of scholars clashed on the varsity’s Kaveri Hostel on Sunday allegedly over serving of non-vegetarian meals on Ram Navami within the mess, with police saying 20 college students have been injured within the violence.
“As per commonplace procedures, a proper report has been sought concerning the conflict between the coed teams on the event of Ram Navmi and the unrest on campus, ” a senior MoE official stated.
