Lucknow, Feb 20: Samajwadi Occasion (SP) chief and its chief ministerial candidate Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday stated that the ruling BJP shall be eradicated within the meeting elections in Uttar Pradesh.
Talking to reporters in Jaswant Nagar, Akhilesh Yadav stated, “BJP goes to be eradicated. Farmers of UP will not forgive them. We have hit a century in first 2 phases & even on this section, the SP-led alliance could be forward of everybody else.”

Akhilesh Yadav is contesting from Karhal Meeting seat.
The third spherical of the seven-phase Uttar Pradesh meeting polls is being held at present. 59 meeting constituencies throughout 16 districts are voting at present. Counting of votes will happen on March 10.
The seats voting at present are positioned within the west, central and southern elements of Uttar Pradesh. In 2017, the BJP gained 49 of those 59 seats whereas the Samajwadi Occasion gained 9. The Congress gained one seat and Mayawati’s Bahujan Samajwadi Occasion, none.
