Alberta is increasing eligibility for third doses of COVID-19 vaccines within the province.
Beginning Nov. 8, Albertans aged 70 and older, First Nations, Métis and Inuit folks 18 and older, front-line health-care employees and Albertans who acquired two doses of AstraZeneca or one dose of Jansen might be eligible for a 3rd dose.
First Nations, Métis and Inuit folks and front-line well being employees will need to have acquired their second dose greater than six months in the past to be eligible.
Eligible Albertans can e-book appointments for third doses on-line with Alberta Well being Providers and taking part pharmacies.
People residing on First Nations reserves will have the ability to entry third doses although public well being clinics or nursing stations on reserve.
