Rescue efforts are underway in Haiti after a strong 7.2 magnitude earthquake killed a whole bunch of individuals, and left many extra injured and lacking.
Seismologist Klaus Jacob stated Saturday the earthquake struck near the floor and warned of doable aftershocks.
“It is a one-two form of a punch. First the earthquake and now that tropical storm that is going over the island, roughly, as we communicate proper now,” he stated.
The earthquake hit about 125 kilometres west of the capital of Port-au-Prince, in response to the U.S. Geological Survey, and brought on widespread injury.
