The highest performers on the BSE Sensex 30 have been Energy Grid Company of India Ltd (BO:) which rose 3.91% to 201.85, NTPC Ltd (BO:) which was up 2.53% to settle at 133.50 and Tata Metal Ltd (BO:) which gained 2.38% to shut at 1192.55.
The worst performers have been IndusInd Financial institution Ltd. (BO:) which was down 2.59% to 980.60 in late commerce, Asian Paints Ltd. (BO:) which misplaced 2.35% to settle at 3186.90 and Infosys Ltd (BO:) which was down 1.49% to 1732.25 on the shut.
Advancing shares outnumbered falling ones by 1411 to 342 and 42 ended unchanged; on the Bombay Inventory Change, 2364 rose and 788 declined, whereas 157 ended unchanged on the India Nationwide Inventory Change.
