west bengal: West Bengal assembly to be adjourned after obituary reference to Subrata on Monday

An obituary reference can be made to Panchayat Minister Subrata Mukherjee on the West Bengal meeting within the first half on November 8, following which the Home will probably be adjourned for the day, an official mentioned on Saturday. The Winter session of the meeting, which started on November 1, is at present underway.

“There will probably be an obituary assembly within the first half of the meeting on Monday. After the obituary reference, the Home will probably be adjourned for the day. Common companies will probably be held the subsequent day,” the official mentioned.

Mukherjee, 75, died at a state-run hospital on Thursday evening following a large cardiac arrest.

He was an MLA for over 50 years and a minister within the TMC authorities since 2011, moreover holding portfolios within the Congress authorities in West Bengal within the Nineteen Seventies.
