Three Israeli universities have been ranked within the prime 100 of the Shanghai Rating – Educational Rating of World Universities for the primary time since 2013. In ninetieth place was the Hebrew College of Jerusalem, with the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot in 92nd place and the Technion, Israel Institute of Expertise in Haifa in 94th place.
Tel Aviv College was ranked within the 150-200 part and Ben Gurion College of the Negev and Bar-Ilan College have been ranked within the 400-500 part and the College of Haifa was within the 500-600 part.
Harvard, Stanford and Cambridge have been ranked because the world’s prime three universities. International locations represented within the prime 100 rankings included the US, UK, Australia, Canada, France, Switzerland, Sweden, Germany, Japan and China in addition to Israel.
The rankings are compiled by Jiao Tong College in Shanghai and are thought-about one of many world’s most dependable rankings.
Israel’s universities have been slipping within the rankings in recent times. In 2013, the Hebrew College was ranked 59, the Technion 77 and the Weizmann Institute 93. However since then many international locations have been investing closely in educational schooling.
