Minister of State for Dwelling Ajay Kumar Mishra met Union Dwelling Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday after he returned from his constituency in Lakhimpur Kheri in Uttar Pradesh, the place his son has been accused of mowing down a bunch of protesting farmers on October 3.

The Minister has claimed that his son was not current within the car that mowed down the farmers. He has stated that the motive force misplaced steadiness after stones have been thrown on the car, and it hit among the farmers by accident. Farmers deny that stones have been hurled on the autos.
Mr. Mishra attended workplace at North Block earlier than visiting Mr. Shah on the latter’s residence.
In the meantime, the Bureau of Police and Analysis and Growth (BPR&D) cancelled the invitation to media individuals for an occasion scheduled for Thursday wherein Mr. Mishra is the chief visitor.
A BPR&D official stated, “The invitation could also be handled as cancelled.” The occasion is said to the two-day seventh nationwide convention of heads of prisons of all States and Union Territories.
