The Congress get together on Monday introduced its candidates names for by-elections in 3 meeting constituencies in Assam and one in Maharashtra.
The Congress mentioned Jowel Tudu, Bhaskar Dahal and Manoranjan Konwar will contest from Gossaigaon, Tamulpur and Thowra seats in Assam whereas Jitesh Antapurkar will contest for Deglur in Maharashtra.
The Election Fee of India (ECI) had introduced the scheduled bypolls to fill 30 vacancies in Meeting Constituencies of varied states.
As per the schedule introduced by the ECI, polling can be held on October 30 and the counting of votes will happen on November 2.
In the meantime, Congress candidates will file their nomination papers for by-elections on Dhariawad and Vallabhnagar meeting seats falling in Pratapgarh and Udaipur districts on Friday this week in Rajasthan.
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and PCC chief Govind Singh Dotasra can be current with the get together candidates on the time of nomination for each the seats on October 8, the final day for submitting the nomination.
The Congress, nevertheless, is but to announce the names of its candidates.
