Punjab govt issues directions to remove posters of ex-CM Amarinder Singh from buses

The Punjab authorities has issued instructions to the state-owned PRTC to take away posters from buses with photos of former chief minister Amarinder Singh. Charanjit Singh Channi took over because the chief minister of the state, changing Singh, on Monday.

Posters carrying photos of the chief minister are pasted on state-owned buses. These posters spotlight the welfare schemes and achievements of the state authorities.

A letter to take away posters of the previous CM was issued by the Public Relations Division director to the Pepsu Street Transport Company (PRTC) in Patiala on Monday.
