New Delhi, July 20: Alt Information co-founder Mohammad Zubair was launched from Tihar on Wednesday night time, hours after being granted interim bail by the Supreme Courtroom in all FIRs lodged in Uttar Pradesh towards him for alleged hate speech, jail officers mentioned.
Zubair was arrested by the Delhi Police on June 27 for allegedly hurting non secular sentiments by way of his tweets.
A number of FIRs had been lodged towards him in UP – two in Hathras and one every in Sitapur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Muzaffarnagar, Ghaziabad, and at Chandauli police station – on related expenses.
“Mohd Zubair has been launched from Tihar,” a senior official confirmed.

The Supreme Courtroom, earlier within the day, ordered the discharge of Zubair on interim bail, saying “train of the ability of arrest have to be pursued sparingly” and transferred all of the instances in UP to Delhi.
The courtroom mentioned “it finds no cause or justification for the deprivation of his liberty to persist any additional” and ordered disbanding of the SIT, constituted by the UP police.
