Forty of the 55 Sena MLAs revolted towards the occasion management that led to the collapse of the Thackeray-led Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) authorities on June 29.
Fifteen MLAs, principally from Mumbai and the coastal Konkan area, have remained loyal to the Thackerays.
The insurrection was led by senior Sena chief Eknath Shinde, who later took over as the brand new CM with assist from the BJP.
