Insurgent Shiv Sena ministers stripped of portfolios
Cracking the whip in opposition to insurgent Shiv Sena MLAs, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Monday divested 9 ministers who’ve jumped ship of their portfolios. An official assertion stated in Mumbai that the portfolios of the insurgent ministers led by cupboard member Shinde, who’re tenting in Guwahati, have been handed over to different ministers within the Thackeray-led authorities for ease of administration. vAfter the motion, the Shiv Sena now has 4 cupboard ministers, together with CM Uddhav Thackeray, his son Aaditya Thackeray, Anil Parab and Subhash Desai. Barring Aaditya Thackeray, the remaining three are MLCs. Shinde’s portfolios – city growth and PWD (Public Undertakings) got to Sena chief and Industries Minister Subhash Desai.
