Pune, Jun 25: Amid the political turmoil in Maharashtra, Shiv Sena employees have vandalised the workplace of the get together’s MLA Tanaji Sawant within the Balaji space of Katraj, Pune. Sawant is likely one of the insurgent MLAs from the state and is at the moment tenting in Guwahati, Assam.
“Our get together employee vandalised Tanaji Sawant’s workplace. All traitors and insurgent MLAs who’ve troubled our chief Uddhav Thackeray will face such a motion. Their workplace may even be attacked… Nobody might be spared,” Sanjay Extra, Pune metropolis head, Shiv Sena advised ANI.
The incident of vandalism at Sawant’s workplace comes after Dissident MLA Eknath Shinde who’s at the moment tenting in Guwahati with the insurgent legislators, tweeted a letter signed by the 16 MLAs that’s addressed to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and Residence Minister Dilip Walse Patil.

Within the letter, the legislators mentioned CM Thackeray and the leaders of the ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance might be accountable if any hurt is induced to their members of the family. In his tweet, Shinde alleged that the safety cowl of the 16 insurgent Sena legislators was withdrawn on the orders of Thackeray and Walse Patil on account of “political vendetta”.
“The federal government is answerable for the safety of those legislators,” he added. Within the letter, the legislators demanded that their safety cowl be reinstated. “If our members of the family are harmed, then the chief minister, leaders of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) authorities like Sharad Pawar, Sanjay Raut and Aaditya Thackeray might be accountable,” the letter mentioned.
