The Class 10 mark sheet of IAS officer Tushar Sumera of the 2012 batch has gone viral on Twitter due to the low marks he scored. He obtained 35 marks in English, 36 in Maths, and 38 in Science.
Nevertheless, this didn’t deter him from reaching his objectives and changing into an IAS officer. He’s now the district collector of Bharuch, Gujarat.
The mark sheet was shared by one other IAS officer, Awanish Sharan, of the Chhattisgarh cadre, and first posted by motivator Shailesh Sagpariya.

“Bharuch Collector Tushar Sumera, whereas sharing his class tenth mark sheet, wrote that he secured solely passing marks in school tenth. He scored 35 marks in English, 36 in maths and 38 in science out of 100. The entire village and his faculty stated that he wouldn’t do something [in life],” the tweet learn.
The mark sheet has sparked a dialog about lecturers and plenty of college students are drawing inspiration from his willpower and journey.
Sumera claims that to clear the UPSC he ready for English and Maths by way of self-study. Reportedly, Sumera graduated in Arts and labored as a faculty trainer earlier than securing all India rank (AIR) 342 within the 2012 UPSC batch.
“Sagpariya is aware of me and he has been giving my instance to college students usually that how with arduous work one can overcome the constraints. This time he requested me to supply a picture of my Class 10 mark sheet by which I bought the least marks in two essential topics,” Sumera advised TOI.
