Union Minister Anurag Thakur on Sunday took a swipe at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and accused him of resorting to “low stage politics”over the focused killings in Jammu and Kashmir.
Thakur additionally accused the CM of “politicising” the focused killings in Jammu and Kashmir at a time when all sections of the society have been standing agency with the folks of the Union territory.
“At a time when all the nation is standing shoulder to shoulder with the folks of Jammu and Kashmir and condemning the acts of terror, Kejriwal has not spoken a phrase of condemnation towards the separatist forces,” he mentioned in an announcement right here.
“Those that query the valour of armed forces and be part of fingers with anti-national Khalistani forces for the sake of energy, with what face will they condemn terror?” he requested.
The minister’s remarks got here on a day when Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Occasion staged protests within the nationwide capital towards the killings in Kashmir and slammed the BJP-led Union authorities for the scenario.
Addressing the protest, the AAP supremo alleged that the BJP authorities had failed to supply safety to Kashmiri Pandits. He mentioned Union House Minister Amit Shah had failed to supply any motion plan to deal with the scenario in Kashmir.
Thakur, the data and broadcasting minister, accused Kejriwal of resorting to “low stage politics” over the scenario in Kashmir.
He mentioned the Jana Sangh and the BJP have been relentlessly giving voice to the aspirations of the folks of Jammu and Kashmir and fought for the abrogation of Article 370 and Article 35A.
He added that the Narendra Modi authorities has been working for all spherical improvement of Jammu and Kashmir and brought decisive steps to free the area of terrorism.
“The latest incidents in Kashmir are unlucky and condemnable. BJP doesn’t want a certificates from you (Kejriwal). You first take away your corrupt ministers,” the Union minister mentioned.
