marriott: Marriott to suspend all of its operations in Russia

The Bethesda, Maryland-based resort operator, which has operated in Russia for 25 years, mentioned Friday that it has determined that newly introduced US, UK and EU restrictions will make it inconceivable for the corporate to proceed to run or franchise accommodations within the Russian market.

Marriott beforehand introduced in March that it was closing its company workplace in Moscow and pausing the opening of upcoming accommodations and all future resort growth and funding in Russia.
