Representation for transgenders and physically-challenged in Assembly sought

 
Tamil Nadu Minorities Fee Chairman Peter Alphonse on Monday requested Chief Minister M.K. Stalin to enact a legislation nominating a consultant from the transgender group and the physically-challenged individuals within the State Legislative Meeting.

 
In a letter to the Chief Minister, he stated for the reason that seat for the Anglo-Indian group had expired, the federal government ought to contemplate nominating two individuals representing those that have been on the margins of the society.

“If a legislation isn’t enacted in your time, when can it’s accomplished? I request you to do it within the present session of the Meeting,” he stated.
