E-commerce agency Flipkart has entered into an settlement with Aarunya, the Narayanpet’s famed handicraft and handlooms, to onboard girls artisans, weavers, handicraft makers and assist promote their merchandise pan-India on its platform.

Aarunya was a challenge initiated throughout the Covid-19 pandemic to assist native girls promote their specialised merchandise. The challenge, which began with a group of 10 girls, is now organising a full-fledged marketing campaign to coach different girls on making Kalamkari and block printing.
