First dedicated Coast Guard jetty in Kochi opened

A Coast Guard jetty constructed on the Cochin Port Belief was inaugurated by Director Common of the maritime pressure V.S. Pathania on Tuesday.  

He stated the primary devoted Coast Guard jetty in Kochi would guarantee seamless Coast Guard operations within the sea areas of Kerala and the Lakshadweep Islands. A press launch stated Kochi being strategically situated demanded the Coast Guard’s presence in safeguarding India’s maritime pursuits. The brand new jetty would facilitate swift deployment of Coast Guard vessels.  

The Coast Guard now has augmented its property in Kochi with 4 offshore patrol vessels, 4 quick patrol vessels, two interceptor boats and two auxiliary barges.
