The petition, filed by advocate Amritpal Singh Khalsa, urges Chief Justice N V Ramana to represent a committee headed by a sitting choose of the highest court docket, to conduct an “neutral probe” into the violence.
Mr Khalsa has alleged that the investigation of Delhi Police to date has been “biased, communal and immediately defending those that have been behind the riots.”
