The Ministry said that as of now, the state is assembly their coal requirement. Thermal Energy Vegetation (TPP) of Maharashtra have been provided with 70.77 Million Ton (MT) of coal in the course of the monetary yr 2021-22.
The Coal Ministry additional said that coal provide to thermal crops is growing in tandem with enhance in demand for energy.
As per the statistics of the Ministry, in March 2022, coal provide to energy crops of Maharashtra was 2.14 lakh ton per day. The identical been stepped as much as 2.76 lakh ton per day this month/April.
Mahagenco has been provided 37.131 MT coal in 2021-22. The each day coal provide to Mahagenco in March 22 was 0.96 lakh ton per day which has been elevated additional to 1.32 lakh ton per day in April.
“It’s equally pertinent that the coal requirement of Maharashtra is being met regardless of Mahagenco having excellent dues of practically Rs 2390 crore,” it mentioned.
