Hubballi, Apr 03: Chairman of Karnataka Legislative Council Basavaraj Horatti on Sunday stated he would be part of the BJP and sure be its candidate for the upcoming MLC polls from West Lecturers’ constituency.
Horatti, elected as MLC seven successive occasions from 1980, has ended his affiliation with the JD(S). “…the time has come to hitch (BJP), unsure when…all (BJP) leaders have informed me, I’ve additionally accepted it…they haven’t introduced a candidate from this constituency for my sake,” Horatti stated.
Talking to reporters, he stated JD(S) chief H D Kumaraswamy too stated he has no objections to Horatti’s determination.
