The United Nations Human Rights Council unanimously voted on Thursday in favour of a Decision on guaranteeing accountability and attaining justice in Palestine.
37 international locations voted in favour of the decision and seven abstained, whereas 3 international locations voted towards the Decision.
The Palestinian Ministry of Overseas Affairs and Expatriates welcomed the UNHRC Decision, thanking the member states that had voted in favour of the draft decision submitted by the State of Palestine.
The Ministry mentioned in an announcement that the unanimous vote displays “the principled place of the member states on the significance of accountability of the Israeli colonial and apartheid regime”.
