The governor of Ukraine’s Chernihiv area says there is no such thing as a let-up in assaults by Russia, regardless of its pledge to cut back army exercise there.
The governor, Viacheslav Chaus, advised the BBC that he didn’t consider Russia’s promise.
On Tuesday, Russia mentioned it will in the reduction of operations round Chernihiv and the capital, Kyiv, in an effort to “increase mutual belief” within the peace talks.
