A China Japanese passenger jet carrying 133 individuals has crashed in southwest China and brought about a mountain fireplace with casualties unknown, state broadcaster CCTV reported Monday.
The Boeing 737 aircraft crashed within the rural countryside close to Wuzhou metropolis, Guangxi area and “brought about a mountain fireplace”, CCTV mentioned, citing the provincial emergency administration bureau.
The report added that rescue groups had been dispatched to the scene.
CCTV mentioned a “China Japanese Airways Boeing 737 aircraft carrying 133 individuals has crashed in Teng county, Wuzhou, Guangxi, and brought about a mountain fireplace.”
Native media reported that China Japanese flight MU5735 had not arrived at its scheduled vacation spot in Guangzhou after it took off from town of Kunming shortly after 1:00 pm (0500 GMT) Monday, citing airport workers.
There was no instant response from China Japanese when contacted by AFP.
