The Coast Guard was alerted by a misery name from MSV Bilal which reported water ingress and engine failure whereas continuing to Lakshadweep.

The Coast Guard ship ‘Vikram’ responded to the decision and supplied help. Additionally, interceptor boat C-404 on patrol was diverted for augmented assist, the discharge mentioned.
