Yesterday, PM Modi whereas presiding over a high-level assembly over the Ukraine disaster mentioned that the whole authorities equipment is working around the clock to make sure that all stranded Indians in Ukraine are protected and safe, mentioned Ministry of Exterior Affairs spokesperson Arindam Bagchi.
This was the second high-level assembly chaired by the Prime Minister through the day over the prevailing state of affairs in Ukraine.
‘Particular Envoys’, together with Union Ministers Hardeep Singh Puri, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Kiren Rijiju and Gen (Retd) VK Singh, will journey to neighbouring international locations of Ukraine to coordinate evacuations of stranded Indians amid ongoing Russian army operations in Ukraine.
In the meantime, the Union authorities has launched ‘Operation Ganga’ to deliver again stranded college students and residents from the conflict-torn Ukraine. Particular flights are being operated by Air India as a part of the ‘Operation Ganga’ mission.
The seventh flight carrying 182 Indian nationals stranded in Ukraine reached Mumbai from Romania’s Bucharest right this moment.
Earlier on Monday, the Ministry of Exterior Affairs mentioned that India has evacuated over 8,000 nationals for the reason that preliminary advisories have been issued by the nation.
