With confidence that Alberta’s COVID-19 “numbers proceed to say no quickly,” Premier Jason Kenney introduced Saturday the province will transfer ahead to Step 2 of its reopening plan come March 1.
The announcement was made in the course of the official opening ceremony of the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital in northwestern Alberta.
Step 2 of the federal government’s plan to reopen consists of:
-Provincial masks mandate can be lifted besides in high-risk settings, together with on public transit, at AHS-operated and contracted amenities, and all persevering with care settings
