A number of the demonstrators within the so-called “Freedom Convoy” blockade in downtown Ottawa have been arrested with physique armour and smoke grenades as a police push to finish the convoy encounters with what officers describe as “assaultive” and “aggressive” behaviour by the crowds.
Up to now, police say they’ve arrested 47 folks on the demonstration on Saturday, elevating the variety of automobiles towed since Friday to 38. Police say there have been 170 arrests whole of their push to clear the blockade.
