Two Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) militants have been killed in an encounter with safety forces right here in Srinagar on Saturday, February 5, 2022, police mentioned.

The duo was killed in a predawn operation in Srinagar’s Zakura space.
Mr. Kumar mentioned one of many slain militants was behind the killing of policeman Ikhlaq Hajam in Anantnag on January 29.
“Two pistols have been recovered (from the militants),” the police mentioned.
Earlier, appearing on particular inputs concerning the presence of militants within the Zakura locality of the town, safety forces launched a cordon and search operation there through the evening, a police official mentioned.
