A Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) was signed between electrical two-wheeler maker Ather Vitality and Electrical Provide Firms (ESCOMs) of Karnataka within the presence of Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Thursday for establishing 1,000 quick charging stations throughout the state.
The ESCOMs could be the nodal company to offer all technical assist and authorities businesses would coordinate with them to share their obtainable areas for the charging stations, a launch by CMO mentioned.
Ather Vitality will present free charging providers for the electrical two-wheeler autos, it mentioned.
The MoU was signed by Managing Director, CEO and co-founder of Ather Vitality Tarun Mehta and BESCOM (Bangalore Electrical energy Provide Firm Restricted) Managing Director Rajendra Cholan.
