West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar on January 30 hit out at West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and alleged that the Constitutional duties has not been carried out by her. “I’ve appealed to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee that democracy survives on dialogue. We have now to make sure to avoid wasting democracy from violence. The constitutional responsibility of the Chief Minister is to provide data to the Governor, nevertheless it has not been carried out ever since I grew to become the Governor,” he added. “Democracy survives on the rule of legislation, not the rule of a person. I hope she (WB CM Mamata Banerjee) seems to be into it. She is remitted by the structure to sit down for a dialogue with the Governor,” he additional added.
