New Delhi: Union Highway Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari on Friday nearly launched the breakthrough of the RHS portal of the brand new 6-lane tunnel (twin tunnels of three lanes every) in Khambatki ghat, Satara district, about 80km from Pune, Maharashtra.
Taking to Twitter, Gadkari mentioned in a sequence of tweets in Hindi, “Balasaheb Patil, the Guardian Minister of Satara, on the 6-lane twin tunnel venture of Khambhatki Ghat situated within the Pune-Satara part on the Mumbai-Bengaluru Nationwide Freeway, dashing up the event of the Nationwide Freeway.”

Gadkari mentioned that the venture is an initiative that can save money and time and the tunnels would cut back the size of Pune-Satara route.
