Sreekanth Kopuri, an English poet from Machilipatnam, has gained the ‘Golden E book of the 12 months Award 2022, for his work ‘Poems of the Void’, for greatest lyrical poetry.

Different 50 eminent personalities who gained this award embody Chetan Bhagat (400 days), Sudha Murthy (The Sage with Two Horns), Sadguru Jaggi Vasudev (Karma), Priyanka Chopra (Unfinished), Dalai Lama (Little E book of Encouragement) and a number of others. The award is given to 50 greatest books yearly by Pune-based Wings Publication.
“The award ceremony can be organised in Pune tentatively in February resulting from COVID restrictions,” says Mr. Kopuri, who’s a professor of English in Vasavi School in Machilipatnam and divides his time between educating the writing.
His poems and analysis articles have been revealed in lots of journals. Influenced by the works of Jayanta Mahapatra, the primary Indian poet to win a Sahitya Akademi award for English poetry, Prof. Kopuri did his Ph.D. on his works.
“Poems of the Void’ is a religious exploration of the chaos that regularly debilitates the Earth,” he says, informing that his poems embody his experiences as to how the persistent proliferation of evil, injustice and sure ideologies with perverted aims over the time have ruptured the way forward for the Earth in the direction of a terminal vacation spot.
“The e book is a meditation over the straightforward and mundane occasions of life to grasp the undercurrent of this dysfunction, and a battle for an acceptable metaphor to pictorially talk this goal to the reader with matters like The Holocaust (after visiting Auschwitz Focus Camp), post-Marx Marxist ideology, post-Impartial India, feminine foeticide, industrial revolution, Hyderabad bomb blasts, Tsunami, honour killing, love, demise, illness, dementia and lots of,” he says.
