The Union Well being Ministry will apply obligatory filters on the Co-WIN platform to exclude Modi’s picture from the vaccine certificates, the supply mentioned.
Meeting elections in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Manipur, and Goa might be held between February 10 and March 7 in seven phases with the counting of votes on March 10, the Election Fee introduced on Saturday.
With the announcement of the schedule, the Mannequin Code of Conduct for governments, candidates, and political events has come into pressure.
“The Well being Ministry will apply obligatory filters on the CoWIN platform to exclude the image of the prime minister from the COVID-19 certificates being given to folks in these 5 poll-bound states due to the mannequin code of conduct coming into pressure,” an official supply instructed PTI.
In March 2021, Well being Ministry had taken an identical initiative throughout the polls held in Assam, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, and Puducherry as steered by the Election Fee following complaints raised by some political events.
