NCP president Sharad Pawar on Wednesday stated he and then-Prime Minister Manmohan Singh have been of the opinion that no “vindictive” politics needs to be performed towards Narendra Modi when he was Gujarat Chief Minister.

“When Modiji was CM of Gujarat, I used to be on the Centre. When PM used to name assembly of all chief ministers, Modiji used to steer a gaggle of CMs of BJP-ruled states and used to assault the Centre.
