Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced the Covid-19 vaccine for youngsters and booster doses, which PM Modi termed as precaution doses, for frontline employees and senior residents, amid the Omicron scare. Youngsters between the age group of 15 to 18 years will probably be getting the Covid vaccine from January 3, 2022. Senior residents with comorbidities will obtain booster doses from January 10, 2022, he introduced.
