Italian prosecutors on Saturday ordered the seizure of elements supposed for the manufacturing of Boeing 787 aircrafts that they stated failed to fulfill the technical specs sought by the client.
The titanium and aluminum elements have been seized by finance police at a plant of Italian aerospace and protection group Leonardo in Grottaglie, in southern Italy.
The elements have been produced by two small corporations, Processi Speciali and Manufacturing Course of Specification (MPS), which have been beforehand sub-suppliers to Leonardo. Each these sub-suppliers are beneath investigation, stated the prosecutors from the southeastern metropolis of Brindisi who ordered the seizure.
The administrator for Processi Speciali declined to remark. The court-appointed administrator for MPS was not instantly out there for remark.
