Chopper crash: Last rites of Group captain Varun Singh to be held in Bhopal today

The final rites of Group Captain Varun Singh, who was the lone survivor of the Tamil Nadu chopper crash and succumbed to his accidents on Wednesday, shall be carried out on Friday in Bhopal.

The ritual shall be carried out at round 11:00 am. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Thursday had stated that Singh’s final rites shall be carried out with full state and navy honour. Earlier on Thursday, the mortal stays of Singh reached the Bhopal airport from Bengaluru the place he was admitted to the Command Hospital.
