THE LOCAL Crime Department (LCB) of Rajkot rural police arrested two males Sunday and busted a gang that allegedly steals scaffolding shuttering plates from development websites in varied elements of the district for the previous few months.
Appearing on a tip-off, an LCB crew led by police inspector Ajaysinh Gohil nabbed two males from close to Jetpur Sunday whereas they have been trying to get rid of 378 scaffolding shuttering plates they’d stolen from varied development websites.
The duo was recognized as Vinod Jethva, a resident of Shreenathji Sheir in Rajkot and Amit Karadiya, a resident of Hari Om Society. Police seized a complete of 378 scaffolding shuttering plates value Rs 3.78 lakh, a bike, and two cellphones from them. The duo was nabbed round six days after Jethva, Karadiya and their confederate Jago Koli made away with 60 scaffolding shuttering plates from a development website close to Jetpur APMC, after which an offence was registered on the Jetpur city police station. Police stated that Jago Koli is a resident of Botad district and he’s needed within the case.
Officers stated the trio had stolen the plates from 19 development websites in Rajkot metropolis and varied talukas of the district over the previous two-and-a-half months.
