Greater than 5,000 bottles of illicit Indian Made Overseas Liquor (IMFL), being smuggled to Bhavnagar from Haryana forward of Diwali and Nootan Varsha festivals, have been seized by the police on the outskirts of Ahmedabad Sunday.
In line with police, a tanker car was seized close to a resort on the Vataman Dholera Freeway in Ahmedabad by a group of Native Crime Department (LCB) of Ahmedabad Rural Police. Upon search, police discovered 5,820 bottles of IMFL packed in 485 cartons value Rs 22 lakh within the car.
