He additionally stated he had obtained the money from KP Gosavi and handed it over to Sam D’Souza.
The person — who can be named as a witness in a press launch by the company issued on October 6 — alleged that Mr Gosavi has gone lacking.
He stated he feared for his life and liberty, which was why he filed the affidavit.
Sources within the company have referred to as the claims “baseless”, questioning if cash had modified palms, “why would somebody be in jail”.
Alleging that the claims have been made “simply to malign the (company’s) picture”, a supply stated, “There are CCTV cameras within the workplace and nothing of this type occurred”.
