New Delhi, Oct 23: BJP MP Varun Gandhi on Saturday shared a video clip purportedly exhibiting a person setting fireplace to a heap of paddy crop after his useless efforts to promote it, and sought a rethink of the agriculture coverage. Gandhi shared the video of the person on Twitter.
“Samodh Singh, a farmer of Uttar Pradesh, had been operating round mandis for the final 15 days to promote his paddy crop. When paddy didn’t promote, he in frustration put fireplace to it himself. The place has this technique introduced the farmers? The necessity of the hour is to rethink our agriculture coverage,” he mentioned.
