A constable at a railway station close to Mumbai saved a pregnant girl from falling into the hole between the practice and the platform on Monday, CCTV footage confirmed. The incident came about when the girl, in an try and deboard a transferring practice on the Kalyan Railway Station, fell and virtually slipped into the hole.
21-year-old Vandana, travelling along with her husband Chandresh and their little one, had been speculated to board a practice to Gorakhpur from Kalyan. Nonetheless, they boarded a special practice. By the point they realised this, the practice had already begun transferring. As Vandana, who’s eight months pregnant, makes an attempt to get off the practice, she stumbles, unable to stability herself. Shivaji Sutar, Chief Public Relations Officer of Central Railway in Mumbai, tweeted the CCTV footage and appealed to passengers to not board or deboard a working practice.
