About 300 extra folks fled their properties Thursday as lava from the Cumbre Vieja volcano on La Palma, Spain continued to advance in the direction of extra communities on the island.
Emergency crews gave these dwelling between the cities of Tazacorte and La Laguna just a few hours to gather their belongings and pets and depart the world.
The volcano has been erupting since Sept. 19, and brought on a magnitude 4.5 earthquake, the strongest of the 100 quakes which have hit the eruption zone over the previous 24 hours. Greater than 6,700 folks have been evacuated and practically 1,200 buildings have been destroyed.
