Queiroga, 55, was filmed shaking fingers with Johnson and patting the prime minister on the arm throughout Monday’s assembly on the consulate basic’s home in New York.
Regardless of Bolsonaro publicly claiming to not have been vaccinated in opposition to Covid, Johnson and different members of the British delegation weren’t sporting masks, though Queiroga was.
Hours later Queiroga was caught on digicam making obscene hand gestures to Brazilian protesters who had taken to the streets to denounce Bolsonaro’s anti-scientific dealing with of a Covid outbreak that has killed almost 600,000 Brazilians.
Brazil has reportedly cancelled its participation within the UN basic meeting after Queiroga’s optimistic check – the second Covid case detected within the South American nation’s delegation in latest days.
