Ahmedabad: In a lift to the electrical automobile (EV) infrastructure, some eight new EV charging stations have lately been put in alongside the Nationwide Freeway-8 between Ahmedabad and Mumbai by a Gujarat-based startup, Tecso ChargeZone.
Automobiles on NH-8 travelling between these two cities will now be capable to cost their electrical automobiles inside 40 minutes. Every charging station is of 60 kilowatt capability and has fast-charging capabilities.
Gujarat at the moment has some 1,319 e-vehicles. The Centre has sanctioned 278 electrical automobile charging stations in three cities of Gujarat together with Ahmedabad, Vadodara and Gandhinagar below the Quicker Adoption and Manufacturing of Hybrid and Electrical Automobiles, India scheme phase-II (FAME-II). Most of those sanctioned EV charging stations are but to be operationalized for public.
